Undertaking :I, have taken admission First year of degree course in College of IMS, AHMEDNAGAR I hereby undertake to obey following code of conduct-

The student must meet the requirement of 75% attendance per course per semester for granting the term as per the rules of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Students should wear uniform on every Monday, Thursday and on all official occasions including guest lectures, industrial visit, various functions, placement related programs, exam period etc. Students should wear decent and presentable attire on the campus.
Student must put-on Institute I-Card in the Institute’s Campus and during official visit to outside organizations. It is mandatory to produce I-Card whenever demanded by any staff or security guards of the Institute.
Mobile phones should be switched off during lecture hour and on ‘Silent mode’ in the Institute premises.
Use of Internet for the purpose other than academic related activities is prohibited.
Student should park their vehicles in the student parking space only.
Students should read the notice board everyday.
If student wishes to remain absent due to any important reason like medical emergencies then he/she should submit application in writing to the respective Class Co-ordinator /Academic Head.
Students should return all library books and clear all the dues at the end of each semester.
Students must appear for all the examinations like tests, assignments, presentations, role plays, term end examination etc. conducted by the Institute as a part of concurrent evaluation.
Writing on class room walls, desk, benches, door, toilet wall or pasting of posters on the wall are strictly prohibited.
Ragging or harassment in any form is strictly prohibited in the campus. The Institute has ‘Zero Tolerance Policy’ regarding ragging or harassment.
Creating disturbance in the academic, administrative, cultural, sports, social or other activities of the Institute, whether on campus or elsewhere in community will be liable for disciplinary action.
Distributing, displaying or publishing unauthorized print or non-print matter in the form of poster, notice, signature campaign, electronic or Internet posting or any other publication either on Institute’s premises or computer networks will be liable for disciplinary action.
Indecent behavior or misconduct with any staff or students that is harmful to the dignity of any individual will be liable for disciplinary action.
Any type of misconduct during industrial visits and educational tours arranged by the Institute will invite serious disciplinary action.
Any act of theft of either Institute’s property or staff and students’ belongings will invite serious disciplinary action.
Students shall not cause damage of property or financial loss to the Institute. In the event the Institute suffers any damage or loss, financial or otherwise, the concerned student will be liable for compensation of such loss.
Smoking and use of alcohol/drugs/tobacco/gutka are strictly prohibited within the campus.
Possessing, distributing or using forbidden materials like alcoholic drinks, narcotic drugs, obscene videos, pictures and photographs in print or electronic form will be liable for disciplinary action.
Student should submit all the required documents related to admissions, scholarships, freeships etc. as per the requirement of the concerned authority to the office on time. The student will be solely responsible for any implications because of any non-submission of documents on time.
The rules and regulations regarding cancellation of admission, refund of fees, and return of documents would be as per guidelines of DTE, Government of Maharashtra.
The student must follow all the rules and regulations of DTE, Government of Maharashtra, AICTE, New Delhi, SavitribaiPhule Pune University or any other competent authority.
The student must follow all the rules and regulations of the Institute and the B.P.H.E Society's. The Society and the Institute reserve the right to make changes in rules and regulations as and when required.
The students should observe following code of conduct.
- Regularity: Attend the college regularly. Attend the lectures, practical sessions and class tests regularly.
- Punctuality: Be on time for college, theory and practical sessions.
- Study: Complete class work, assignments and journals regularly.
- Examination: Do not use unfair means for examination.
- Intimation: In case of absentees inform your class teacher.
- Behaviour: Be honest, behave politely and treat others with respect.
- Interference: Behave in a manner that will not interfere with the right of others.
- Respect: Be respectful to others while under jurisdiction of college and while participating in college sponsored activities.
- Faith: Show fairness, courtesy and good faith towards others.
- Credit: Give credit where it is due.
- Accept as well as give honest and fair comments.
- Care: Utilize amenities provided by college with care.
- Report: Report to appropriate college authorities in any hazardous illegal situations in the college.

I understand that if admitted, my admission will be confirmed only on my production of Transference Certificate form my previous college/Educational Institution for the final certificate from the S.P Pune University as the case may be. I take the responsibilty of submitting required documents within 1 month.
I hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the Vice-Chancellor and the other officers and authorities of the University and the authority of the Institute and shall observe and abide by the rules made by the Head of Institution.
I have carefully noted the rules and procedure of admission as given in the prospectus, which I am required to follow for getting admission to MCA - II YR course and shall in matter of the interpretation accept the decision, given by the director in this respect as final and binding
I have gone through the fees and other fees to be charged by the Institute & I hereby agree to pay the same in time.
I shall attend 75% of the lectures for each unit course as per rules of the University, failing which I shall not approach the director for any concession in the regard.
I have gone though and am aware of the anti-ragging policy of the Institute and have given the required undertaking for the same

Antiragging ACT, 1999 : The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999. Act of Maharashtra Legislature received the assent of The Governor on 15th May, 1999 and was published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, Extraordibary, part VIII, dated 15th May, 1999.

S.3 Prohibition of Ragging: Ragging within or outside any educational institution is prohibited.
S.4 Penalty for Ragging: Whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall be liable to a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
S.5 Dismissal of student: Any student convicted of an offence under S.4 penalty for ragging shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.
S.6 Suspension of student:
- Whenever any student or, as the case may be, the parent or guardian, or a teacher of an educational institution complaints, in writing, of ragging to the head of the educational institution, the head of that educational institution shall, without prejudice of the foregoing provisions, within seven days of the receipt of the complaints and if prima facie it is found true suspend the student who is accused of the offence and shall immediately forward the complaint to the police station having jurisdiction over the area in which the educational institution is situated, for further action.
- where, on inquiry by the head of the educational institution, it is proved that there is no substance, prima facie, in the complainant received under subsection (1) he/she shall intimate the fact, in writing to the complaints.
- The decision of the head of the educational institution that student has indulged in ragging under subsection (1) shall be final.
- Students must keep their terms strictly in accordance with the rules of the University Authorities for grant of terms. Terms shall not be granted in case of students, who are defaulter in accordance, tutorial, tests, fees etc.
- Every student of the college must have an Identity Card. He should always wear it around his/her neck in and out of the college and should produce it whenever called upon to do so by the relevant authorities. No student of the college should travel without his/her Identity card. This card shall be produced at the time of University Examination by every candidate
